Job Title: Program Officer

Key Responsibilities


  • Design and develop strategic program plans, goals, and budgets

  • Conduct community needs assessments and stakeholder engagement

  • Lead and coordinate day-to-day implementation of program activities

  • Manage program staff, volunteers, and partner relationships

  • Monitor compliance with donor and organizational guidelines

  • Develop and execute monitoring and evaluation (M&E) strategies

  • Analyze data and prepare reports for stakeholders and management

  • Support proposal writing and fundraising activities

  • Oversee program budgets and financial tracking

  • Facilitate collaboration with NGOs, government, and donor agencies



Qualifications and Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Public Administration, Development Studies, or a related field (Master’s degree is an added advantage)

  • At least 3 years of experience in program or project management in NGOs, international development, or similar fields

  • Proven skills in budgeting, reporting, and stakeholder management

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently and adapt to dynamic environments

  • Must be based in Abuja or willing to relocate
