About ICRC Nigeria

Role Overview – What You’ll Do:

• As a Data & Analytics Officer, you will support the Protection Department in managing, analyzing, and improving data processes related to humanitarian operations. You'll play a key role in:

• Implementing data best practices and protection protocols.

• Managing databases and tools for activities such as Protection of Civilian Population (PCP), Protection of Family Links (PFL), Detention (DET), and Forensic (FOR).

• Training ICRC staff in protection data entry and analytics.

• Developing dashboards and generating reports using tools like Prot6, SQL, and Microsoft BI.

• Ensuring quality control and compliance with data security standards.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Information Management, or Library Science.

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in data analytics or data management roles.

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, with knowledge of SQL, Power BI, or VBA as an added advantage.

• Fluency in English and Hausa is mandatory; knowledge of Kanuri is a plus.
• Must have a valid work permit to work in Nigeria.
